Phase Transformation of Kaolin-Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag from Geopolymerization to Sintering Process

چکیده

The main objective of this research was to investigate the influence curing temperature on phase transformation, mechanical properties, and microstructure as-cured sintered kaolin-ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) geopolymer. varied, giving four different conditions; namely: Room temperature, 40, 60, 80 °C. kaolin-GGBS geopolymer prepared, with a mixture NaOH (8 M) sodium silicate. samples were cured for 14 days afterwards using same sintering profile all samples. that underwent process at 60 °C featured highest strength value: 8.90 MPa, densified microstructure, compared other contribution Na2O in geopolymerization as self-fluxing agent production ceramic low temperatures.
